Delivery hours are your restaurant's default open and close times.
During your delivery hours, customers are able to find your restaurant, browse the menu, and place an order on Grubhub. Outside of your delivery hours, customers will not be able to see or order from your restaurant.
Start/Stop Taking Orders allows you to quickly switch between "open" and "closed". Restaurants typically start/stop taking orders if there are sudden weather changes, a sharp increase in orders that a restaurant can’t prepare in a timely manner, or a restaurant’s delivery staff has suddenly called in sick.
If you need to go offline, Stop Taking Orders will temporarily close your restaurant on Grubhub. To come back online, you need to select Start Taking Orders again. You can also use Start Taking Orders to take orders outside of your regularly scheduled delivery hours. Learn how to start/stop taking orders here.
